You can see come wire there, didn't find the wireframe for the 2 others project. You can see for the water by example, the mesh is really simple.
I think they used all the same techniques: the landscape mesh is simple but the map is really well detailed. I just want to know what you think about it, the techniques, the performance because of the large map, etc (as I didn't see a lot of project with a complex map like). I don't have specific question, but if someone saw a making of or something like that about big scaled model like that, I would be happy.

I'm planing to make another big project, more than my last castle, I've already begin a little, will take a long time.
The theme: City utopia. (It would look a bit like the image from raph, but I'll focus more on the city and less on the landscape.)
But I want to make some camera animations maybe, and I'll have to make an island. I found a real place where I want to put it, I'll just change some things but the scale is perfect.
