had an issue last night rendering for the challenge. I found a workaround, but wanted to see if maybe anyone knew what was going on.
I'm rendering in MR, with motion blur for everything in the scene turned on.
in my challenge thread, you can see the shot where the camera is next to the car. the car is driving really fast across the plateau, and eveything really close to the camera is motion blurred like crazy, which is cool!
but, for some reason, the ground plane becomes transparent near the bottom of the frame. i don't have a pic to post of it, since i found a workaround last night and rendered ok. in my top viewport in that screenshot in my challenge thread (bottom left viewport), you can see my huge gorundplane. the camera is linked to the car. it's not like there's an edge near the camera at all.
the best way i can think of to describe what's happening is what happens to a frame when you apply a blur in after effects. it pulls the edges of the frame inwards, since its averaging the pixles with non-existant pixels outside the boundary of your image. there's a button in after effects, "repeat edge pixles", which fixes it.
that's what seems to be happening to my ground plane. not the car, which runs off the bottom of the frame as well.
really weird. any ideas?
