Killed my PFlow shortcut "6"

15 Oct 2006Damn, I could kick myself right now.. I was watching Tyson's Reactor/Pflow video tutorial and thought the shortcut to apply a UVmapping over an object was pretty darn handy, so I put it under "6"....... a split second after that my heart skipped a beat when I realized I use it allllllll the time for the PFlow window
And my worst fear got confirmed when I deleted the shortcut for the UVmapping and the PFlow windows still wouldn't pop up...
Do you guys know how to assisng the "6" shortcut to the PFlow window again? -
15 Oct 2006Can you just go into customize and go to the keyboards shortcuts, in the main UI dropdown the category to object particle system thingie and choose pflow and assign it to 6?

15 Oct 2006That's kind of the problem, 'cause it's not there. I can't find the Particle Flow window anywhere in the list? I guess that's because it's a system shortcut and shouldn't be customizable?

Second, I f-i-n-a-l-l-y fixed it
I've tried everything... Reset all layouts/keymappings and still no luck... After a hour or so googling around I didn't find anything so I went for a huge 3dsmax search on my harddrive. Found a couple of directories in Application data so I removed them, et voila! All my settings are gone and the shortkey is working again! -
