Error with fracture object while going though tutorial

Howdy,
Going through Tyson's great cannon ball/wall tutorial, but getting this error. I'm not too familiar with Max (been trying to switch to it for a little while, but always "divert" back to "other" 3d software
)
Anyhow, any ideas on the problem?
