I just noticed that when I open the material editor my pagefile memory goes up by a shed load (75mb), bloody stuff doesnt come down when you shut it again though, also every time I move the animation slider back and forth or rotate the scene in any way it adds some more on aswell.
the only way I can get it to stop is to put a very basic material on the models.
I always knew my memory usage crept up the longer I worked on a scene untill eventually it would run out and crash, but it seems I cant have textures and complex geometry at the same time.
Why?
