This question can probably translate into any software, but I mostly use max, so I'll ask in this thread...
I'm currently rigging a character with some armor. I was curious if any of you knew of any resources or knew of any specific techniques that you have when dealing with this sort of set up. I've narrowed it down to two sort of set-ups...a dynamic simulation of some sort...or a seperate armor rig that would be animated on a seperate pass after the main character animation..
Anything for advice would help a lot, I've been looking around the web and what not, but have found nothing helpful...
