Ok, normally I would of use a path deform but in this case the movement is to complicated for it, I'm exploring Spline IK solver I have more control but I get weird effect there too
Any suggestion?

i would suggest IK its quite simple actually, let me write a tut, gimme 10 mins.

Thanx but it won't work my snake is going to wrap around someone and that someone is sitting down then getting up and taking the snake off

Well path deform seems to give the best effects, a bit touchy to manipulate but good effect, but your technic is great for a snake crawling.

i don't know what a path deform is(i'm assuming is making the mesh soft body to flow with the path) but what i've done before to make a snake crawl with a path was make literally 100 spheres, put them all really close together on the path so that whey it moves it looks like one object that deforms and flows with the line.

I tried Tyson and screws up the mesh to much, I would need to many points on it to control the shape, but I'm having a blast with path deform, and a few snake to have only one at the end.
