Hi, i was bored today and decided to model a pen with all the parts, tube, ink cartridge etc. But now i want to make it all 'stick' together and drop it without it all falling apart, the problem i have is i tried grouping it but then i cant give it mass, any ideas?
thanks

instead of grouping, take one of the objects and in edit mesh "attach" all the objects into that object. so its still one object, but not a group.

thx man, but then if i wanted to do one where they were apart will i just have to save a different file with them apart?

use attachment constraints that way you can have them all move together and also set different masses to them in reactor.
i think its in animation>constraints.

The easiest solution is to add all of the objects to a "fracture" collection, and then set all of the pieces to "unbreakable".

Yes i do remember that tutorial and the toys. The way they did it (If i remember correctly) is that they first assigned a mass to the individual parts then after each one had a mass assigned to it they proceeded to grouping it.
