Hey guys I need some rigging help.

13 Jul 2007alright here is the deal I am trying to get some forearm twist set up in my rig.
if anyone knows a good way to do this please let me know
this is how i tried to do it;
i have my normal two bones for the arm. And on the forearm i made two bones to act as my twist bones (image)
to get them to twist i used wire parameters to link the Y rotations of the twist bones to the controller at then end of the forearm.
it works fine while it is straight out but if i bring the arm down if twist on other axis than on the controllers local Y.
if anyone can help me that would be amazing
and if you dont understand let me know ill try to explain it better.

13 Jul 2007Hey bro....yea you can't wire something like that straight-away...there's some necessary code you've gotta throw in too.
I've gotten twisty bones working 98%* properly on my boy rig for my film....when I get home I'll post up the code
*I say 98%, because at certain extreme angles the twisty bones don't do a full twist, only a partial twist...so once in a while you've gotta manually tweak them a bit. -
