I'm working on an architectural piece, and I'm trying to make it look as athmospheric as I can. I would really like to have rain pouring down in the final stills, with small cascades of water running off the roof. What type of techniques etc should I look into to get these kinds of effects? It doesn't have to be animated, but it would be a lovely touch if it was, I'd put some lightning in too (though that would be fairly simple I think.)
