I'm having some issues setting up mult-material objects in Max. I checked the User Reference manual, but apparently I'm doing something wrong.
I have a large building that needs to have two different materials applied to it.
Max starts with channel 1, and most newer game engines start with 0, but that will be no problem, as I think 1 will be moved to 0 and 2 will be moved to 1.
Anyway, how do you do this in Max, do you apply two UVunwraps, or just selelect the faces, and select a channel? When I have done this, my UVs reset.
I'm a little tired, so I'm a little rusty.
