Is there a "make live" option in Max like in Maya? I know Polyboost has such a tool, and it's great for clothing, but I was curious of Max "vanilla" has it as well?

In Maya when you "make something live," you can draw new polys on top of an existing model.

OH. Silo and Blender have that ability. I don't think Max has it, but Polyboost can do it. You do mean re-topology right?

Nope not out of the box. But polyboost v4 is so amazing <3
