At first, hi people!
I am newbie here in this forum but I am not newbie to 3ds max.
Still I have encountered this problem that just gets me boring - one day I found that help folder doesn't contain help manuals.
I copied them from other computer where max is also installed. How I can relink them, where to go so presing in max UI help opens to me automatically corresponding manuals (as it is by default)
Not to often I go into max preferences so have no idea. System paths, user paths has something to do with it?

could be a number things...............check your root folder(help) and make sure you have these HTML. files loaded.
should load with max. .. reinstall off cd........or google and load,,,,,,,,,,,

Hmmm very strange. However, if you put the .chm files in the max help directory, and also tell max how to find them in the plugins.ini file in the root folder, you can then goto help--->additional help, and you'll see your help file in the list

Oooouuhhh, I am not strong in all those customize, settings and preferences error solvings
I can't find chm. file and what are they?
This file should be by default in help directory?

Uuo, I forgot about that thread. Just in case if anyone runs on it, here's my tip - reinstall do the thing
