old render system for 3dsmax

ive been racking my brain for days and i need to rack yours now...
a number of years back, i recall there being a nice renderer/system for max - but i cant recall what the hell it was called or how to find it.
i remember using it at an advertising place i used to work at in 2001/2002.
all i can remember are some images from the site - like nice clay looking renders of little cute characters...one goign into a dirty bathroom. another one of a littel army guy.
anyone recall this? i cant bloody remember what its called..

07 Mar 2008no no - wasnt one of the well known ones you listed. jeez i cant bloody remember it. the name was based actually on one of teh characters this guy had created and rendered with it. i think it was a brazilian guy...

he was in an older version as a example file in max if im not wrong!

08 Mar 2008Daniel's work used to come package with some of the older version of 3dsmax...so he was one of the first artists who was a great inspiration to me

09 Mar 2008yeh - that was the name i was thinking of....but also prob why i couldnt find it.
and yeh, i remember it was like max 3 or 4 that first started featuring some of daniels work in the examples folder/tutorials. facial morph target stuff and spline based rigs if i recall correctly.
