hi all i know i am such a noob i tryed finding a way to import an audio file to max but i couldnt please can some one help and is this the correct place to place this thread

Hi there,
Remember to check the max help files before asking questions like this...since they could have easily answered it.
Anywho....open up the curve editor and you'll see a place to load in a .wav file at the top left of the node tree.

i tried that but it gives this error: can't open file or file doesnt have audio stream.

Your file has to be a .wav file.
