Hi, I recently created a character which has been attached to a biped and is now ready to animate. I am able to pose it in most positions, but i can't seem to make it move vertically. I am trying to get the character to jump freely, without using the preset jump function in order to learn different ways of moving characters. I would be really grateful if anyone could tell me how to overcome this little hitch thanks a lot.

Hey Bourbon-kid, to be honest im not a fan of bipeds and you might be better just rigging it yourself and then hand animating it because then the characters movements will be more life like oh and welcome to the forums!

select the center node
right klick and choose select body vertical (or horizontal)
also for more easy use have the motions panel open while you animate the biped so you can easily right click and set keyframes (planted/slide/free)
and not every bone has this option some cant be planted

While were on this biped subject. Lets say I have a biped i scaled to a model and added a skin or phy mod. now i bring in a mocap BIP. file and animate. I touch up and change a bunch of stuff now I want to dunp the BIP. mocap file out of the skined model. I tried to go in fig mode and thats what I want. but i can't delete all the keyframes. i just want to start over, without using the mocap bip. file a have placed on the bip itself.......any help?

There is a button in the bip ui that will clear all animation on the entire BIP. I forget the title (i think its just Clear All Animation) but the icon looks like an eraser.
