How to extrude xyz position from path deform

25 Sep 2008so i try to wire the xyz coordinates from a pathdeform object to the slice modifier of another object but the problem is you cant wire it because the xyz doesnt change its the percentage of it i tryed to parent a point modifier but it doesnt work either.
another problem is the slice tool has no limit it cuts throug the entire mesh not the plane its using. so often the project has weird cuts in it.
