Hi all,
I think I have a simple question, I just can't think of the ideal solution, what would work the best.
I've been doing video stuff for the LA Derby Dolls roller derby league for a few months now, just on the side for fun. They asked me to make a really basic 3d animated explanation of the rules, since newcomers usually find it kind of confusing to figure out whats going on. So they gave me a 2 minute voiceover they recorded and edited, and some simple storyboards of what they wanted and I threw it together pretty easily. It's all just basic geometry, so it's nothing impressive. But there is one part where a "player" is moving through a group of other "players" that I'd like to slow down a little bit, without reanimating it, if possible. The group of players is animated procedurally with a noise constraint thingy, and they are all linked to a non-rendering box that's following a path around the track. That way, they all stay in a group going around the track, but they all have their own random movement.
The animation is roughly 3600 frames long, but I just want to take a little 40-60 frame segment in the middle and extend it to maybe 100 frames. I'd like all the animation after that to remain as is. Is this possible without messing up the procedural animation I have going on in it? the player passing through the group is animated normally.
