Ok been working with the whole rope thingy in reactor. I'am stuck at one point, how do I animate the rope to fallow an object??? I have tried animating before simulation and after but it still will not fallow a object. my example file is a rope linked to a box. Very simple.
what the hell am I doing wrong. (cuz we know its me)
Goto the vertex sub-object level of the rope modifier and select the points on the spline you want to have following a rigid-body.
Then, near the bottom of the modifier's settings click on "Attach to Rigid Body". A heading of the same name will then appear in the listbox. Click on that (while your vertice is still selected) and a new settingbox will appear in the rope modifier panel asking you to select a rigid body......click on it and make your selection......and you're done!
Very simple.....just remember that your rigid body needs to be in a rigid body collection, and if you've got keys set on it, you need to tell reactor that it's "unyielding" in the reactor utility panel under "properties".
