ALi 608 posts27 May 2006Here is the edgemap shader that I found. EdgeMap2.
A small free good plugin. Try it guys!
It also works with 3dsmax 8.
I found it at Must be known for some of you, but I recommand that to all max users.
Also I found Greeble plugin for max 7 and 8. It's available now for all versions of max to download. Very Fantastic and useful plugin. See a picture below that is made basicaly with Greeble. and a tutorial to make it.

ok, Glu3D isn't free, but it's worth plugging anyway. and the demo only puts a little watermark up in the corner, out of the way (@ 640x480).

21 Sep 2006just putting this in the Max Free stuff thread, so its easier to find for Max users. I've been using the batch render script from this site and its pretty cool (easier to set up than backburner - somehow i can't get backburner to recognize my IP address).
Good scripts, tutorials, and demos.

wow, this is super neat! once again, the magical power of scripting...
this is a script for painting on feathers, and they will stay attached to the underlying geometry and move in the proper way. I can't even explain it - go look. Super cool! -
