hahaha, the philadelphia experiment... i've done alot of research into that, not sure if i believe it. (one of my hobbies is historical mysteries). the only thing that really lends alot of credibility to the tale (for me, anyway) is that Einstein was involved.
Remember Michael Crichton's Timeline? that's the best book he's ever written (IMO), and the science in it is mind-boggling! its all about teleportation. (the movies kinda sucked - read the book!) After i read that book a few years ago, I got REALLY into teleportation, and tried to learn as much about it as possible. There came a point where i had to stop reading about it, because it just didn't make sense anymore. Quantum particle entanglement is about the weirdest friggin' thing i've ever heard of, and doesn't make any sense at all, and its scary that we're learning how to use it for something. i think there's alot going on that we don't have any clue is happening. Just like when they discovered x-rays, they were all excited, "look, we can take pictures of the insides of our bodies!", and it wasn't until years later that people learned about radiation and its effects. I think 100 years from now, people will be shocked that we were screwing around with this stuff. but i'm intrigued anyway, and think its awesome and amazing, and would probably volunteer to be teleported if they needed anyone.
