Sorry it's been slow lately....

10 Nov 2006Sorry peeps...I haven't been posting much and I haven't been keeping up the maxscript challenges....just dropping by to mention that we're pretty much finished a pretty cool spot for the Home Depot that I'll be posting soon (it's been the thing taking up all my spare time)......and I'm STILL trying to get that other short film up soon (the one with the blobby-style characters).

10 Nov 2006no big deal, T! I have been rather busy myself... went back to work this week, VERY reluctantly! so i haven't been cranking away on the challenge like i wanted to be. but, i did manage to record another compositing tutorial tonight, focusing on lightwrap. and this weekend i'll be doing one on real, accurate camera matching.
can't WAIT to see your upcoming animation and HD spot!! -

as hype says we're all busy, don't worry i still have enough pop corn for a week or two waiting in the cinema to see your new anims
i myself is very busy at uny... sleeping 2 or 3 hours a night
hype, i cant wait for that lightwrap tutorial, i really want to know how you do them. is it a new accurate camera matching video tutorial ? or is it just personal work? -
10 Nov 2006Yeah same here guys - im constantly workin on the short film im trying to make at every single free minute i have. Im very busy modeling away every single night - but its all good fun!
Lookin forward seeing those ad's T - and defiantly looking forward to another tut hype! I still havent had the chance to watch the other two to be honest - will soon though.
If off to the capital (Cardiff) tomorrow - 5 hours drive to watch the band called Muse - really looking forward, I wont be back until Monday! Rock on!

11 Nov 2006ooh Hype, you stole it, I was thinking of doing a lightwrap tut with a node based system. I want to see it so I can compare notes.

11 Nov 2006zach, dude, go for it! mine's gonna be a super simple easy version in AE.
I did it last night, but then figured out a much easier way. anyway, i think you should do it! you may present different ideas, and it would certainly be beneficial for those people using node systems.
