17 Nov 2006I saw Children of men too, but I have mixed feelings about it. I loved the long shots and the overall visual & war-torn style of the movie, but the movie left many, many questions unanswered, had (imo) a poor ending and had some ridiculous parts in it.

it was done at Copernicus, with the direction of John K ( Who I met a number of times now, and had a few drinks with -for those who don't know John K, he's the creator of Ren and Stimpy) Those guys at Copern are amazing!

23 Nov 2006I'm a fan of Tenacious D, good music, so I expect this movie to be good.
Here in Canada, Tenacious D wil be released on Nov 24th and Children of Men dec 25th.
I've never heard of Children on Men before, but It looks promising. I always been fan or utopia and anti-utopia -

25 Nov 2006I was surprised to see that little animated intro for the movie, it was pretty cool! i never heard of copernicus, but, then again, i'm not up on all the animation studios.
but John K is a legend!
Mike, feel free to scream away! hahaha... sometimes my friends clap really loud just to embarrass me. after the first few, the thrill of seeing your name up there goes away. but the thrill of seeing your work never goes away.
yeah, jacques, the red carpet one. nope, didn't get to walk the carpet - that's only for the celebrities to have their picture taken. they ushered us around it. but i sat near Don Cheadle, and Clive Owen was there, as was almost everyone else in the movie, and I saw Selma Hayek, who is really short. -
