I totally agree with you on this one Zach, i think this film looks (from the trailer) great! The trailer was so well made, the suspence in it was killing me, makes me want to go right over and see it. The sounds the robots made was pretty awsome too, really brings them alive. Shame it's out on the 4th of July though, same day as Die Hard 4 - now that's a pickle.

i don't like the new designs, but i'm psyched anyway. i LOVED transformers growing up. when it first came out, it was my favorite cartoon. i had every friggin' toy. so i'm a little attached to the old designs. the new ones seem a little overly... spiky and jaggy. and I liked that they used to be volkwagons and vans, with some porsches and other hot cars thrown in for a nice well-rounded variety. now they all seem to be top-of-the-line hot sports cars.
but, like i said, i'm psyched anyway.

Wow that was dark. It looks twice as dark as the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie.
Visually, I think it's godamn incredible and I'm easily going to see this film for that alone.
But, not too rant or anything, but I cannot understand why the guys over at Rotten Tomatoes kept updating everyday for the past six months about the logistics of the Transformers movie. I have this bizzare theory that anyone who is a fan of the Transformers hasn't seen the show since their childhood because that show was pretty damn bad.
Still, much like I did with the American Godzilla movie, I'll watch the film for visuals alone.
