Waiting waiting waiting waiting waiting

19 Sep 2005So here I am at work....trying to render out an animation....but each frame is taking freakin 2-3 hours long! They're looking GREAT don't get me wrong.....but this is driving me crazy!
Anyways....lately I've been passing rendertimes by playing "Liero Xtreme" (real-time uber-bloody freeware online-multiplayer worms game
)....but I need other things to do....
So...what do you do while waiting for a render? (if you're stuck sitting on your computer, mind you.....so going horseback riding or swimming at the beach doesn't count haha) -
19 Sep 2005Sleeping is a good idea mate. I'm sure you need some more of that.
Reading is also a good thing to take up.
Seeing as you're using a rederfarm, any more 3d stuff, or games or anything could be relevant as you're not using up ur cpu speed.
Get an super nintendo emulator or something similar so you can play the old school games like super mario all stars, zelda, sonic hedgehog, pacman e.t.c -

g3org3 355 posts20 Sep 2005draw and post. I havent seen seen any of your 2d since you did that charicture you did for art class that was put on the display.
Also a good idea could be picking up a problem book(or 2) such as cross words, anagrams and the sort . It will expand your mind and make you be able to solve problems quicker and more efficient, which will help you everypart of your life. Or just do your local newspaper crossword everymorning, should prove to be some fun. -
