Hype appreciation day!

17 Jan 2007So as I've been browsing the forums lately, one thing has been overly apparant....
Hype is the friggin man! There aren't too many others who are as helpful as him on the forums, and he's always going out of his way to post critiques, new techniques or cool resources he's come across.
And not only that...but he's our very own R&H employee! So he's got all of his experiences from there that he's been able to share with us, giving us a real inside scoop.
Just thought I'd call you out Hype, since you've been a major contributing factor to this forum being totally rad! Three cheers for ya! -

glad you guys like my rambling... i sure do blab alot. if i spent as much time in Max as i did babbling, i'd be a heck of a lot better than i am! (which will be proven again when i post my abysmal character animation this friday!)
i think that's why i made so many video tutorials - AE is something i'm decent at, and i think i was overcompensating for my 3d skills!
and, i think if you went through all my posts and deleted the ones that said "wow! this is cool!", my total posts would be somewhere around 30.
and if you guys weren't just so much darn fun, i wouldn't hang out here so much! -
bzudo 151 posts17 Jan 2007i know i'm new here, but i second the hype day. this guy went out of his way to help me in AE. he even made a video tutorial for me and others. you won't get that at cgtalk. this place is great is a big part of the reason why.

Really though man, You are great to have around here, I think that this thread is definitely in order. It's nice to hear things from the perspective of someone who gets to work at a studio with the credit R&H has. I think that before people actually get out into the field, there is this looming feeling of "oh holy crap, how am I ever going to make it, i'm retarded compared to all the guys already doing it." And you make people feel welcome and confident in what they are doing.
This forum wouldnt be what it is without you bro.
