Looks like this forum is really doing well.
Thanks to all the regular members for their continual support! Hopefully we'll keep growing and slowly become a nice-sized player in the CG forum "game"

29 Sep 2005Idaeus, stop suckling on our lightbulbs. We need them to light the forums otherwise everything goes dark.
How we did it? I think our main thing that is helping us grow is that as a team we thought out what we wanted from this forum, and what we would do to make it the best we possibly could. We had it all planned out before we started so that it was just a matter of implementation. Once it started, the members themselves gave us great ideas and hints to help improve it even more. We have not stopped working on the forum. New and better things are to come and if you guys + girls (Thats you Kirby + Laura + Nicole my dears!! I isn't leaving you out of this
) can think of anything to make it feel like a more homely kind of place or make it a more inviting and action packed atmosphere then please do post it or email us.
So Idaeus, the main idea is to plan and then implement and then grow. Without a solid idea at the start things tend to go slow and may never take up. We luckily had a super strong base of talented members to start us off and the same keep coming. We are fortunate to have this place here and I am happy to call it home.
If all else fails mate. Spam your heart out. hahah

04 Oct 2005Just thought I'd drop into this thread and mention that we're already half-way to 3000 baby!!!
Once again, Cam and I cannot stress enough how awesome it is to have the great userbase that we do.

seeing the amount of new users i have no doubt that sometime next year we can celebrate the 50k mark
i think we need to get the name out a little more while retaining the quality of work and knowledge we have now ( i noticed alot of new users after tyson mentioned the site on the cgcast interview ) so Cam now it's your turn to sit next to archer and talk about stuff haha i'mnt sure that would work out well -
