This is meant to be listened to on headphones, but if you don't have headphones, just take your 2 desktop speakers and hold them up to your ears, close enough that each ear will only hear the sound coming from their respective speaker.
If you've got 5.1 surround or something fancy, sorry, but you're out of luck and thus won't get the effect.
If you DO have a working setup, I'll just say wow! ....it totally sounds like someone is really behind/in front of you
Really creepy...they should (somehow) use this in movie theatres! -
19 Feb 2007Very cool indeed when you don the headphones. Quite creepy as it goes behind you... but I never felt like the sound came from in front. Above and behind for sure.

19 Feb 2007that's awesome, that must be how bose does it. They have some sort of single speaker surround system I was checking out the other day, and I sat in the chair, and heard stuff from every direction at different intervals. They must have done some crazy research to find out how that works. I would have just done it with magic though...
