I didn't realise there was a real difference between a CV and a resume - I thought it was more to do with the language difference and the Atlantic divide!
I think Sean has it right by saying keep it short and sweet. If you have industry experience that is what the prospective employer will be looking at (so in the Hypester's case a long list of the films he's worked on and a short description of his role on each would be great)
Otherwise - make sure you put in as many details as you can that are relevant to the job you are applying for, and brush over jobs that are not really relevant (or make them sound relevant). Like in my resume I had to put down the work I did in the UK. It's not at really related to animation at all, I was an Audio Visual technician... but on the resume I've at least make it look like it's in the right field!
I'll see if I have a copy to hand (though my PC died on me last month - so that may be a no go!).
