Just got back from the movies. The 3d experience was awesome, really great seeing a cg movie the way it should be seen
The movie itself, the story was ok, animation was really nice. I was expecting something a lot closer to robots look wise but it wasn't so, which was a nice surprise.
It didn't grab me as much as I would have liked however. I don't know, might just be me. (OT: I saw Reign over me the other day and it didn't really move me and that is supposed to be the sob story of the year haha. )
It was only towards the end that I really got into the story and had a few good laughs. The commercials I've seen of the movie totally ruined some of the best moments for me but I guess they have to grab people's attention somehow.
Overall i think a step in the right direction for Disney, I don't know about comparing it to The Incredibles however
Anyone else seen it yet? I was surprised to see the theater was half empty and this opened yesterday I think. Albeit it was a late show so maybe too late for the younger audience.
Oh and half the people there were not using their glasses?? That must have given them a headache, I don't get it.

Jonathan 480 posts17 Apr 2007I saw it a week or so ago. I liked the visuals, especially the beginning, but then, the story sorta became rushed and non sequitur. I did look at my watch a couple of times, but the last of the half of the movie make it OK. I really wished the funny T-rex played a bigger role.
