andyburm 35 posts07 Apr 2007I was wondering if it's best to generate your own HDRI at the location of your shoot in order to get the most realistic look, or if something from the Dosch, Sachform, Evermotion, etc. collection is always good enough.
I've been looking at the last sequence (spoons) of this promo

which was also posted on cgtalk.
The reflection/lighting looks just too good to be done with a premade HDRI (unless the env is CG as well) ?! -
