11 May 2007this one is great. I have one, and use it nonstop all the time bff for sure.

11 May 2007yep, i second what zach said. thta's my favorite tablet, too. don't go any smaller, but certainly go bigger if you can afford it.
how ever, in a recent issue of 3dworld, they reviewed tablet, and the wacom didn't win. might be interesting to check out what did.

of course its nothing in compare to wacom but its very very cheap and it wouldnt do the job better if i had a wacom.
It has a good responsive time and a good resolution.
the only negative thing is that the pen works with battery
but it lasts very long i havent change it since i bought it and its been about a month and a half.
The tablet zach mentioned is amazing i used one of them at work (i left)
and its pretty cool especially when you use it with corel painter. -
Claymation 600 posts11 May 2007I also have a wacom 6x8. Very nice. Although at work I have something like a 14x14 or something monstrously oversized that's pretty nice as well. -

12 May 2007I already have a 48x48 Cintiq, 3 of them actually. =P (jk for the slowbies)
But...I'm thinking the 6x8 might be perfecto. This guy at my school has a Intuos 12x12 with the serial connector instead of USB he is selling. Anyone know if that is a pos or if I can just get a usb/serial converter and be in good shape with it. -
Claymation 600 posts12 May 2007My work one is a wacom digitizer II 12x12 serial, and it seems to work just fine for me.
