Well it had a couple of funny parts, but I can't imagine sitting through a whole movie like that.
I almost want to believe that the trailer was made as a joke by some studio exec....

i went to eragon HAMMERED and drank even more DURRING the movie... but i think this one will get more booze.
how, how did it fall so far from first blood (which was ((except for the end speechy by rocky)) a great movie)?
and no, for the most part, bows dont sound like that. its close. the noise they have is like if you hooked a bow up to an amp and distorted it.

LOL - I still haven't seen Eragon and having read the book (it was a present) I really don't think I want to!
I agree with the last post though... first blood was a good movie, you could very nearly take Stallone's performance for a serious piece of acting. I was even moved by the part near the end when he cracks up. (I think that was the 'Rocky' speech you were talking about)
But yeah... WTF happened? I mean 2 was a bit crazy (though it was made around the same time as platoon if I remember right - so I can kinda see that it worked for the time and the reasons behind it... but it just went to s**t by 3...

This thing is really borderline ridiculous, which is great. As a fan of brainless action movies I can hardly wait. Excellent material to see with a few mates and some pizza. Stallone has got old though
