Yea thats pretty wierd.
Toads make funny noises too, they stand high on their legs doing it too. They always do it on my lawn when my cats get hold of them.

I heard a catfish make the same sounds once, and on top of that it just had its head cut off, my mom freaked that day and swear she would never cook an other catfish in her life.
Got to admit it was cool for the 10 year old kid I was at the time (oh no another grey hair just appeared)
