Ok.... go see it.
Its a great flick. Great story, Great dialogue, FUCKING AMAZING animation, amazing environments lighting rendering textures everything. Probably the funniest pixar flick. it MAY be the best pixar flick. i will have to watch it again before i can start to throw that around but it was a seriously good time. gonna see it again tomorow. its one of those movies that when you leave you want to see it again. i almost snuck back in, it was that good.
Ill write more on it after i see it again. but its really good, guys...

Saw it last night and it was a blast!
I don't think I've ever laughed so hard at the animation I saw in this film. Any time Linguini was stumbling around the kitchen was hilarious!
Of course, I'd expect nothing less than great from Brad Bird. It was also great to see the short Lifting finally on the big screen and Wall E looks like it'll be destined to be Pixar's "sweetest" film to date. It didn't feel fast and ecstatic, but calm and beautiful.

This time i was going in with the mind set "alright... im just gonna watch and enjoy the animation" but again i was drawin into the story and couldnt do my animation-critical-eye watching that i do from time to time.
its just a great flick.

This is the first time in my life I've come out of a theater and really thought about how proud I am to be an aspiring animator. This film blew me away.
The scene where he is asleep and Remy is trying to wake him up is THE most brilliant animation I've EVER seen. So....freaking.....good.

I was lucky enough to see it in a sneak peak about 3 weeks ago.
I loved it everything you guys said is true. overall amazing
when the movie started i was just watching it like any other movie until the water part (if you have seen it you know what im talking about) suddenly i realized how amazing everything looked and i found myself scanning all over the screen trying to take everything in at once..

Ok, time for somebody to step up and be the bad guy I guess.
I loved the movie, don't get me wrong. Animation was amazing, lighting and all that was amazing. Blah blah blah, good job.
But I thought they tried cramming too much story in there. Too many characters, too many little plots, not enough closure. Character arcs happening too fast and too often. I dunno. It just seemed sloppy to me. And super predictable.
Finding Nemo is still my favorite Pixar movie, but that might just be because I'm a dad and the story gets me all teary eyed every time I watch it, even for the 500th time. In a row.

i didnt feel like they crammed it all in there. I thought the pacing was good and well thought out.
I would have liked just a hair more character development, personally, for a few characters but felt that overall it was top knotch.
as far as being predictable, i suppose it was but i really guess i didnt go in thinking "man, i hope there are some twists!"
usualy pixar flicks are fun simple storys and i felt that they delivered.
its too bad for whatever reason that not a lot of people are seeing this when turds like shrek 3 make bajillions of dollars.

I just got back from seeing it. The animation was incredible. I LOOOOOOVED the squashy rigs and
*spoiler*
the animation showing Linguinin as a puppet was ridiculously good!!!

I saw it 2 days ago and i was amazed. The story was one of the most fun I've seen in a while.
I'll agree with Clay that Finding Nemo was much more emotional and a tear jerker at times, but Ratatouille had me laughing and just feeling happy the entire time. I would absolutely see it again.
Oh, and it was really funny seeing critics talk about the movie on TV. One of them said "Despite the speech at the end about critics, there's just something about rats in a kitchen that i can't fall in love with." ... well screw that guy.
