Got the opportunity to go to BlizzCon this weekend. We got a sneak peak of Starcraft II and the new WoW expansion Wrath of the Lich King. Both are awesome so far!!!! We were able to play some single and multiplayer on Starcraft and explore the new zone "Northrend" in WoW, including a preview of a new 5 man instance.
If even not a game fan, definitely check out the cinematics for Starcraft II. Blizzard has been making GREAT cinematics for their games. Went to a panel on the cinematics which was pretty interesting. They broke down the modeling/animation/finishing for the Starcraft II cinematic and showed some of the concept work for the game. Also they are coming out with a WoW live action film in collaboration with Legendary Films.
I'll post a few pics from the event soon. They had a really awesome sculpture of Illidan.

No release date yet. I supposedly "quit" WoW, but I just got a free year subscription and some of the stuff for the expansion looks cool, so I dunno... Level cap raised to 80, new death knight hero class, new 5, 10 and 25 man instances, customizable HAIR AND NEW DANCES... I have my fingers crossed for EPIC UNICORN FLYING MOUNTS!

Only thing i was after was the Beta Key in the Goodie bag and to see all th info on new expansion, we knew in advance because they mentioned an announcement on the timetable for the day.

I guess the marine model in the cinematic was the most complex and dense model they've ever made at blizzard, and had to render in a bunch of passes because it wouldn't all render together.
I quit WoW for the last time (we'll see....) a few months ago. This expansion looks kinda dumb. One hero class? So there's gonna be a million death knights running around, cool. If I get back into mmo's at all, it's totally gonna be Warhammer Online. I'm so pumped for that game I started collecting and painting those miniatures, and once i get enough I'll start playing that, if I can find anyone else that plays...

Seems everyone is rather bent about the single hero class. Hopefully there will be more in the expansion or at least released in content patches.
I just want to see how awesome Mountain Kings look!
I'll probably check out WAR but only if it releases before Darkfall.

They're not releasing any more in this expansion, they said they're too busy focusing on the one they have. Probably in future expansions though, I doubt they'd add something like that in just a content patch.

There's nothing so far that makes me realllyyy want to start playing WoW again, but they are adding a bunch of useful things like integrated voice chat.
Funniest part of the event was the dance competition--they were judged by Blizz animators for who could do the best impression of the different class dances. I was rooting for the guy who did the Moonkin dance, but of course a blood elf male dance and two blood elf females won... They Moonkin guy was sooo into it, the comedian/MC Jay Mohr joked about him impregnating the first six rows, lol

Yea i got it as a kid.
Thats what i dont get but supposedly the doctor told me you can get it 2-3 times but its rare.
yea its definately worse, had for over a week now its making me sleepy all the time too. He ran tests in case it was somthing else like an STI or Meningitis but it all came back as chicken pox. Which tbh id rather have than the others lol.

wasnt aware so many simplycg'ers were wowheads. i myself just quit a few months ago after playing consistenyl since the release date. i did hear about the beta and might pick it back up when it comes out. until then, however i'll keep working on school.

70 Paladin Called Aden - Draenor - Sold for ?250 on ebay.
70 Priest Called Hootmiester - Draenor - Gave to a friend (Had over 1500+ healing)
63 Hunter Called Hoonter - Draenor - Gave with Priest to a friend
Currently playing
64 Rogue called Potato - Draenor - Horde (Got to rank 12 when ranks were in)
56 Shaman called Uprise - Draenor - Alliance (Recently working on)
The shamans going to be my main from now on gunna get him all geared up. Wish i coulda got one of them beta keys though so i could plan out my 70-80 leveling before the actual release. Anyone willing to give theirs up? haha.
Ive played pretty much since day it was released, did have a 1 month break after i sold my paladin. Cleared pretty much ever instance execpt Black temple and Hyjal.
Was 8th on my server to Hit 70 when expansion came out, mainly because i had 4 weeks of uni and didnt have a job so i hardcored it, planned it all out in expansion, drank lots of redbull and ate alot.

Not nearly as extensive as you buddy.
Got a 68 Human Warlock called Cornjam on Nagrand realm, he so sexy everyone thinks so. He collects pets and epic mounts.
also got a 17 Draenei Pally working its way up called Cornetto, he likes ice creams and holding hands with lady Draenei.

Hey, looks like a great time!
I'm amazed at how big the place was....the part where they have the successive projector screens makes it look like a boxing match, where the people in the actual ring look like little ants from where you're sitting.
