Issues #60 to #95 of 3D World for sale!

26 Sep 2007Heya Folks. I've decided that I'm going to sell all of my 3D-World Mags, I've got every single issue from #60 to #95, and was wondering if it's worth my while putting them all up on ebay or something? I think it's better if I sell them all off as one pack, rather than selling them one by one - just wondering if there's anyone interested at all? All the issues come with the original cd's, so all sort's of demos!
I bought them all for about £210, but I'm willing to sell the whole bunch for about £80-£100 - I don't use the mags at all, and I really need to get some space in my room, and I'm slowly loosing interest in 3d to be honest. If you guys feel like you'd want to do it through ebay rather than just straight through me, then I'll happily whack up on there!

26 Sep 2007dude, i TOTALLY agree with that! When a movie gets near the deadline, everyone panics, and we start working CRAZY hours. On some shows, it's been 14 hours a day, 7 days a week, for 2 or 3 months. My entire life gets put on hold. I don't call anyone, bills get behind, I stop grocery shopping... sometimes my mom will call and leave sarcastic messages like "Hi, I'm looking for my son, does he still live there?".
It's the industry, and sometimes it sucks.

27 Sep 2007Yep - I'm just about heading into crunch time myself right now... pre crunch has been about 12 hours a day, 6 days a week for the last few weeks - it's going to get worse.
Sadly that's the name of the game in this business - it does take over for a time and it does put strain on friends, family and loved ones. But that's kinda what you sign up for. It's much more career than job and I'd say that you have to devote time, energy, effort and a big chunk of life to any career, CG related or not.
Take some time out if you need it man - we all have to sit back and detatch ourselves for the occaisional reality check. But don't just throw your arms and say 'that's it for me!'. Especially at the start of a new AM term, a great opportunity that many people would kill for
