Yeh I asked the guy who's building my PC to use XP, he already bought vista though so if he can't return it i'll have to pay for both. D'oh! Which version is best for our stuff, 32 or 64 bit?

Well, it's really up to you. 64 bit is better in theory, it can handle more ram, it's arguably faster, and supposedly is more efficient. However, windows 64 bit in my experience can't run for more than three hours without springing memory leaks and nothing runs right on it. Aaaand, overall, not enough programs have 64 bit versions. i'd say stick with 32 unless you have the whole early adopter syndrome, or just want to restart your machine every few hours.
Some people say that they don't have any problems and love it. and to that I say, B.S.

Thanks Zach, I'm having 32 bit put on there. I can't wait to get hold of it, twin quad cores FTW!!
