i recently got a new camera (Hv20) and i am confused on the basic workflow to edit and to work in AE.
as a side note i did some test shots and when i rendered it out for some reason it showed the colors rite while playing in VLC but came up way to dark in Quick Time (i rendered it out as a .mov) can anyone explain why this is happening?

its the codec i think i have the same problem sometimes when i use media player classic its a little bit brighter than windows media player for example and both are in standart configuration i diddnt change anything. VLC is using its own codecs as i know that could be the problem. I could say more if you could get comparison screenshots up.
