I grew my own carrots in the garden this year, and jolly nice they were too, even the weird shaped ones! Planning on growing more next year, including some purple and white varieties for good measure.
I like them best roasted whole (if they're small) or halved length ways, drizzling on some honey half way through cooking. Awesome!

How rude it is for farmers to think :O oh, I belive its time I acted as an alarm clock and wake up all those tiny orange people from their slumber.

on second thoughts, drizzled in honey and roasted would even make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up and be delicious.
