After sending two resumes, a completely new demo reel, new website, a transcript that cost me $3, a letter from my instructor that took forever to get, doing three phone interviews, and constant e-mails going back and forth, the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN has finally picked me up as a video editing intern.
I just got the call this morning and shatting bricks. I'm going to work at MAYO!

nice man, my buddys wife works there. says its an interesting place. every day a little something new to deal with. (then again she works in the lab... you know on shows like house and er when they send the life or death samples to the lab for tests to find out if its loopus... yeah thats her job)

It'll be interesting considering I use to live in Rochester and, ironically, my dad use to work at Mayo when we lived there. I haven't lived in Rochester for a decade so it'll be interesting to see the town again and catch up with my old friends.
