I'm still here, this is the first place I come after checking my email everyday.
Just haven't been commenting on much lately, I guess. I have been busy, too. I'm on "Mummy 3", it's going fine, no crazy overtime or anything yet, hopefully not for a while. Also been helping out the other small VFX place in the evenings and weekends sometimes, on "Semi-Pro" (Will Ferrell) and "Baby Mama" (Tina Fey). I've been trying to finish another radiodrama (I do them occasionally, just for fun). I've also been thinking about rewrites to the script for my next short movie, and may actually enter "A Thousand Words" in one more contest. It also requires me to do a bunch more work to accompany it, but the prize is $10,000 and a series production deal, so it's worth it.
I need to get the silly radiodrama and the "1000 Words" pitch out of the way so i can concentrate on my next short, that's really the only thing I'm excited about.
I haven't touched 3dsMax in a while. I did throw together some animatics for my next short, since I have trouble describing some of the shots to people like the cinematographer. But that's the only CG outside I've work I've done in almost 2 months.
And Cam, you wouldn't have to drug and blindfold me to get me to hug your toilet! Or demand a ransom! I would just hug it because I love it! -
