Adam Chase 72 posts16 Feb 2008Hey guys, well heres the story I havent been really into 3d and lost my passion for it but i recently decided to get back into it.I probably started doing 3d alost 4 years ago now im 19 and ready to do it as a career. Im a former c4d user but am taking a crash course in Houdini. Im focusing on dynamics and particles hence the reason to choose Houdini. SO i just thought id pop in a say whats up. Im going to use this as one of my main forums not that I dont like CGTalk but id rather a real community feeling! Here some of my old c4d work. Oh yeah and im going to study 3d animation at college next fall too! Cant wait.
i wish i wouldn't of lost all of my own work! -

Adam Chase 72 posts18 Feb 2008thanks guys! Yeah i just downloaded Houdini. Gotta love a free app. Ordered the art of houdini book and gnomon into to houdini dvd! Cant wait to get started.

18 Feb 2008apprentice edition is free (but watermarked + size restriction) and they also have a starving artist edition for $99 bucks that gets rid of the watermark and increases your output size resolution limit.
