25 Mar 2008hey guys from fjorg last year i keep in touch with some people over at sony and i just got this email today thought all our simply cg Paris/ Europe people might like to see it.
Sony Imageworks UK Recruiting Trip
Sony Pictures Imageworks Will be Visiting London from April 7th - 11th
Sony Pictures Imageworks Inc. is an Academy Award® winning, state-of-the-art digital production studio dedicated to the art of visual effects production and character animation.
The company's achievements have been recognized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences with Oscars® for its work on Spider-Man 2 and the CG animated short film The ChubbChubbs!. Other Oscar® nominated projects include Surf's Up!, The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Spider-Man, Hollow Man, Stuart Little and Starship Troopers. Movies currently in production include: Body of Lies, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, G-Force, Hancock, Valkyrie and Watchmen.
Sony Pictures Imageworks will be in London, UK from Monday, April 7th - Friday April 11th and will be interviewing for multiple positions on various Visual FX and Feature Animation Productions.
Here are a few of the positions we are interviewing for:

Modelers (Character & Environment)
Technical Directors: Shader Writers & Look Development
Technical Directors: FX & Dynamic Simulation
