I have a question for anyone here who can help. I work with 3DS MAX, and have just started working for a new client. The client is a Macintosh user, and does not have any prior 3D experience, but would like to be able to look at the files I create in order to give input.
We need to figure out what software package he should get, and what format I should send files to him in, that will keep as much information as possible from the original file (including, preferably, bones animations, morph targets, etc). Is there any way to actually do this?

nothing i know of aside from playblasts demonstrating what he would like to know. one other possible solution would be for him to boot windows on his mac using parallels or similar operating system emulation software.

why don't u just send him a screen capture video, or maybe set rigs and all of those extra stuff attributes to render out with the animation, there is one other way is for him to install maya and you export to FBX but i am not sure how good it is in translating data to maya.
