working on The Mummy 3

04 Apr 2008Hey everyone, just me again. Been working on the Mummy 3 since the new year started. Nothing spectacular, I know.
Anyway, the director posted a cool little video on his blog, showing R&H and Digital Domain, and talking a little about how we've been working together on this movie. Thought you guys may be interested in seeing, so here's the link. On the left, you'll see a row of videos - the first one should say Visual Effects. That's it.

ps: while on my plane ride back down to florida last week the tv in front of me was having an interview with some rhythm and hues guys concerning the alvin and the chiomunks movie. saw it and of course thought , "hmm i wonder if i'll see hype in this videol, that would be so cool!" -
04 Apr 2008We worked on this a bit at Image Metrics, Jet Li's character is pretty rad. Hopefully it comes out as good as it seems.

what part of jet li is cg? Or is there a digital double?

04 Apr 2008Not completely sure how they are handling it man, but I imagine you can expect a lot of CG.
