I recently rendered out a model I was working on and noticed that the white of the eye doesn't really render as white. It looks like it's gray. You can see the image here:
In my setup, I have a sphere with the iris and white color and then I have a bigger sphere that is mostly transparent with specular around it. Neither one has reflections. Any ideas why my white isn't really white? I have the color at RGB = 1,1,1 and it still looks gray!

Oh, and I don't know if this matters, but my materials are phong shaders. Thanks! ~Mechis

Haha I'm glad you solved the problem ! All too often I beat my head against a problem for hours before posting here, only to find a solution five minutes afterwards!
