2D Animation?

i was wondering the other day if you guys know a software to be able to do 2D animation on pc, with my tablet.... preferably, i'd rather have a free one...

mechis 520 posts06 Apr 2008I've looked around a lot and I don't think there isn't a good one for free. PAP is ok, for $100... but flipbook for $150 (I think) is the best. (actually, you can get a lite version of flipbook for less... but teh $150 version is better b/c it has layers and you can make longer animations with it).

07 Apr 2008Hey, people, maybe few of us could share me info - does anyone knows what software generally was used to create typical 2D old school animations like Iron Man (TV Episodes) and perhaps many of Japanese Anime? I did some googling first but looks like research go deep. If any already knows, please share info
For 3D was only where I took a look but start to feel that to become skilled 3d animator I should take my quest through 2D world.
I know and have used Anime Pro, it's cool but it's vector 2D -
