speaking of you, Global, are you English? For some reason I thought you were American, but I read something in a thread around here with some British slang in it, and I think you said it reminded you of home or something.
I learned some new British slang today - "taking the piss". -

I really like the cultural exchange thing - one expression I learned recently was 'talking smack'. I don't do it, but it's a funny expression -

like:

04 May 2008Its more like, before I race, I inform all the others drivers that I am the greatest driver on earth, and that they are all about to get their faces wiped on the pavement by my kick-ass car, and that not a single one of them will be able to come anywhere near me on the track because I'm so damn fast! that's talking smack!
