ok wow, if you liked the 1st three indiana jones movies then chances are you'll love this one. the CG was used as sparingly as possible it looks like, alot more liveaction than any of the new starwars films. as far as cinematography and writing goes, it seems to be on-par with the 1st three movies in almost every way. I highly recommend seeing this movie, its a fantastic adventure film and I'm glad my spielberg and mr lucas have not lost their touch

anyone else seen this yet?

I saw it yesterday with the wife and kids.
I loved the first 3. This one starts out great, but went a little hokey later on. ( My opinion only )
The movie itself is a great Indy ride, no doubt, but I didn't care too much for the story itself.

"the CG was used as sparingly as possible "
what, do you mean the CG gopher that opened the flick, the copy cat ants from the mummy, and monkey rage attacks?
i didnt hate it, but its at the very bottom of the list of indy flicks for me. felt phoned in and half assed. (except the visuals which were very nice, but still a really good looking cake that is all frosting isnt a good cake, you need substance and this didnt have as much as one would hope)

Saw it last night! Yes it did have some cheesy parts but in a fun way...it is Indiana Jones after all. Overall I was still entertained the whole time.
